25 minute Yoga Nidra for Anxiety Management (thunder in background)
A yoga nidra style meditation and mindfulness practice is designed to promote relaxaton and awareness especially with regard to anxiety.
By exploring changing sensations, we are able to reveal the part of us that is unchanging - our Awareness. This is the part of us that is aware that we have or experience emotions rather than being or identifying with the emotion itself.
This gives us the ability to watch with mindful awareness, the experience of the emoton as it passes through, rather than feeling consumed by it.
By beginning the process of increased awarenesss we can be aware that we are more than the anxiety itself and that it will pass.
This can be very empowering and liberating.
